AFCAT 2021 Eligibility, Syllabus, Exam Pattern: Indian Air Force conducts AFCAT written examination twice every year to enroll young candidates in Indian Air Force as an Air Officer in ground duty and flying branch. This year AFCAT 2021 would be conducted on 20 and 21 February. In this article, we have provided you the details of AFCAT 2021 Eligibility Criteria, Syllabus, and Exam Pattern below.

AFCAT 1 2021 Exam Syllabus

AFCAT 2021 exam will consist of four sections and EKT ( for ground duty(technical) branch will consist of mechanical, computer science and electrical & electronics.

NOTE:  AFCAT 2021 Exam would be objective type questions and will be in English only (For both AFCAT and EKT).

English comprehension, error detection, sentence completion/filling in of the correct word, synonyms, antonyms, and testing of word, vocabulary, idiom, and phrases
General Awareness History, Geography, Polity, Current Affairs, Environment Science, Defence Knowledge,  Art culture, sports etc.
Numerical Ability Decimal fraction, time and work, average, profit and loss, percentage, ratio and proportion and simple interest, time and distance(trains/boats and streams)
Reasoning and military aptitude test Verbal skill and spatial ability and Military Aptitude

AFCAT 1 2021 Exam Pattern

Marking schemes:
(i) Three marks will be awarded for every correct answer.
(ii) One mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.

AFCAT 1 2021 Eligibility Criteria

 

(a) Nationality. Aspirants must be a citizen of India as per the Indian citizenship act, 1955.

(b) Age Limit

(a) Flying Branch. 20 to 24 years as on 01 January 2022 i.e. born between 02 January 1998 to 01 January 2002(both dates inclusive). Upper age limit for candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot License issued by DGCA (India) is relaxable up to 26 years i.e. born between 02 January 1996 to 01 January 2002 (both dates inclusive).
 
(b) Ground Duty (Technical/ Non-Technical) Branches. 20 to 26 years as of 01 January 2022 i.e. born between 02 January 1996 to 01 January 2002 (both dates inclusive).

 BPSC 2021 Mains Exam Pattern

The aspirants are called for the BPSC main exam only if they clear the minimum cutoff in the BPSC Prelims Exam as decided by the Commission.  The BPSC Main Exam have a qualifying paper General Hindi. Others Papers, will be General Studies Paper 1 and General Studies Paper 2 carrying 300 marks each. There will be an Optional Paper that the candidate has chosen earlier while filling the Application Form. The Optional Paper carries 300 marks. The list of the 34 Optional Subjects is mentioned below.

Important Points for the candidates.

  1. Candidates have to qualify the General Hindi Paper in order to get their General Awareness sheet checked by the commission.
  2. Questions would be asked in both Hindi and English language.
  3. Total score of 900 marks in GS Paper 1, GS Paper 2 and Optional Paper.
  4. The candidates who are comes in merit are called for the interview.
  5. There is no negative marking in the descriptive question papers.
  6. Candidates have to attempt all the papers to qualify for the Interview.

BPSC Syllabus 2021: BPSC Mains Syllabus

Qualifying Paper: General Hindi

BPSC paper of General Hindi will be qualifying in nature. This paper is for  100 marks and subjective in nature; below is the distribution of the marks.

  1. Essay: 30 Marks
  2. Grammar: 30 Marks
  3. Syntax: 25 Marks
  4. Summarization: 15 Marks

Out of the 100 marks, candidates are required to secure the qualifying marks in the paper. For this qualifying paper, a good book of school standard is enough.

General Studies Papers

Till now all papers were of qualifying nature. Now important papers are  General Studies Papers and the Optional Paper. There are two Papers for the General Studies and one for the Optional. Each Paper carries 300 marks making the total marks from all these papers to be 900.

BPSC Interview Test

Candidates who had qualified the BPSC Mains Exam would be called for the ‘Interview’ Round. Candidate would be assessed on the following basis.

  1. The candidate will be interviewed by a board on the basis of record of the candidate career and interests filled by the candidate in the Application Form.
  2. The objective of the interview is to check the candidates personality whether it is suitable for the career in the state services by a board of competent and unbiased observers.

Indian Navy 10+2 B.Tech Entry 2021: Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

Candidates should have passed senior secondary examination (10+2 Pattern) or its equivalent examinations from any Board with at least 70% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) and at least 50% marks in English (either in Class X or Class XII). Indian Army JCO Religious Teacher JCO 2021: Eligibility Criteria

  • Pandit: Hindu candidates with Acharya in Sanskrit or Shastri in Sanskrit with one-year diploma in ‘Karam Kand;
  • Granthi-Sikh Candidates with Gyani in Punjabi.
  • Maulvi (Sunni) and Maulvi (Shia) for Ladakh Scouts: Muslims candidates with Maulvi Alim in Arabic or Adib Alim in Urdu.
  • Padre-Any person who have been ordained priesthood by the appropriate ecclesiastical authority and is still on the approved list of the local Bishop.
  • Bodh Monk (Mahayaana)- Any candidate who have been ordained Monk/Buddhist Priest by the appropriate authority. The term Appropriate Authority will mean Head Priest of the Monastery where the person has been initiated into priesthood. The head priest should be in possession of Geshe (PhD) of Khanpa or Lopon or Rabjam with proper certificate from Monastery.

Indian Army JCO Religious Teacher 2021 : Medical Criteria

  • A candidate should have robust physique and mental health, chest should be well developed having minimum 5 cm expansion, should have normal hearing with each ear, should have sufficient number of natural teeth, i.e. 14 dental points with healthy gums. Candidate should not have diseases like deformity of bones, hydrocele, varicose veins or piles.
  • Serving combatants or Remustering candidates must be in medical category SHAPE-1. Remustering candidates will be exempted from recruiting medical examination at the time of recruiting rally. A certificate indicating medical category duly signed by Army Medical Authority where individual is serving and countersigned by the Commanding Officer of the unit will be submitted by the candidate.

SSC JHT, JT and SHT Exam 2020 Answer Key: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has declared the result of Junior Hindi Translator, Junior Translator and Senior Hindi Translator Examination – 2020 (Paper-I) on 19.01.2021. In order to ensure greater transparency in the examination system, and in the interest of the candidates, Staff Selection Commission  the Final Answer Keys along with Question Paper are being uploaded on the website of the Commission on 25.01.2021.

Important note: The candidates may take a print out of their respective Final Answer Keys along with respective Question Paper (s) by using the link given below. This facility will be available for the candidates for a period of one month from 25.01.2021 to 24.02.2021.

Indian Army NCC Special Entry Recruitment 2021: Educational Qualification

Candidates shall have degree of a recognized University or equivalent with aggregate of minimum 50% marks taking into account marks of all the years. Those studying in final year are also allowed to apply provided they have secured minimum 50% aggregate marks in the first two/three years of three/four years degree course respectively.

Service in NCC:

Should have worked for minimum of three years (wef 22 Feb 2013 to onwards till date)or two years (23 May 2008 till 21 Feb 2013) in the senior Division/Wing of NCC. Candidates should have obtained minimum of ‘B’ Grade in ‘C’ Certificate Exam of NCC. Applicants, who are not holding NCC ‘C’ Certificate on date of application, are not eligible to apply for the course.

Educational Criteria for Ward of Battle Casualties of Army Personnel

Indian Army NCC Special Entry Recruitment 2021: Educational Qualification

Degree of a recognized University or equivalent with aggregate of minimum 50%. NCC ‘C’ certificate not required for Wards of Battle Casualties.

Selection Process for Indian Army NCC Special Entry

Shortlisting of Applications – Integrated HQ of MoD (Army) reserves the right for shortlisting of applications for NCC Special Entry, without assigning any reason. After shortlisting of applications, the Selection Centre allotment will be intimated to candidates via their email registered on the official website.

SSB Interview – Stage 1 Screening  Process

Those who fail in stage I will be returned on the same day.

Stage 2 which include Psychological tests, Interview and GTO Tasks.

Duration of SSB interview is five days and details of the same are available on official website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in.

Medical Exam – Candidates who get recommended after Stage II shall be called for Medical Exam at nearest Military Hospital

Merit List – The candidates who pass the medical test will be issued joining letter on the basis of merit

SSC Constable (GD) 2018 Result: Check CAPFs, NIA, SSF & Assam Rifles Result here

SSC Constable (GD) 2018 Result: Staff Selection Commission conducted Constable (GD) in CAPFs, NIA, SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination, 2018 from 11.02.2019 to 11.03.2019 in the Computer Based Mode. A total of 30,41,284 candidates appeared in the said examination. On the basis of the result of the Computer Based Examination, a total of 5,54,903 candidates (female-77,369 and male-4,77,534) were shortlisted for appearing in the Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/ Physical Standard Test (PST).

SSC Constable (GD) 2018 Result

The result of PET/ PST was declared on 17.12.2019 and 04.03.2020 wherein total of 1,52,226 candidates (female-20750 and male-1,31,476) were qualified for the Detailed Medical Examination (DME). In addition to this, on the basis of various court orders, 39 more candidates got permission for DME. Hence, in total, medical examination in respect of 1,52,265 candidates was conducted by CAPFs. The Detailed Medical Examination was conducted by the CAPFs from 09.01.2020 to 13.02.2020 and 24.08.2020 to 12.09.2020 and the Review Medical Examination (RME) was conducted from 14.09.2020 to 10.11.2020. The summary of result of DME/ RME is as follows

SSC Constable (GD) 2018 Result: Resolution in case of Tie between candidates

In the event of tie in scores of candidates in the Computer Based Examination, such cases have been resolved by applying following criteria, one after another, till the tie is resolved:
(a) Total marks in Computer Based Examination.
(b) Marks in Part-A of Computer Based Examination.
(c) Marks in Part-B of Computer Based Examination.
(d) Date of Birth, with older candidates placed higher.
(e) Alphabetical order of names (starting with first name)
